We’ve gone into our archives to bring you recipes for a perfect Easter Meal…

From start to finish, these recipes from our vault will bring new and familiar flavors to your Easter table.  We love each and every one of them…and apparently, you do too. They’re not just our favorites, they’re some of the most viewed recipes on our site.  For nibbles, how about these “Cocktail Cookies” from the incomparable Dorie Greenspan (https://chewingthefat.us.com/2020/06/cocktail-cookies-from-dorie-greenspan-goat-cheese-chives-and-tarragon-apricot.html). Moving to the dining room, start the festivities with Melissa Clark’s Asparagus, Goat Cheese, and Tarragon Tart (https://chewingthefat.us.com/2020/06/melissa-clarks-asparagus-goat-cheese-and-tarragon-tart.html) or bowl of Cioppino Seafood Stew (https://chewingthefat.us.com/2022/01/cioppino-seafood-stew-the-san-francisco-treat.html) Then on to the main event, making Monte’s Ham!  Long-time readers of ChewingTheFat will know all about it but if you’re new, read all about it and how to make it here (https://chewingthefat.us.com/2022/12/for-christmas-the-original-recipe-for-montes-ham-and-glaze.html).  Now for the sides, may we suggest these absolutely incredible English Jacket Potatoes, one of the most viewed posts ever (https://chewingthefat.us.com/2020/07/the-best-baked-potato-try-english-jacket-potatoes.html). Or if you’d like something brand new to bring to the table, may we suggest a Wedge Salad? This one has an Asian accent and its Kimchi vegetables are a great counterpoint to the sweetness of Monte’s Ham. (https://chewingthefat.us.com/2020/07/three-quick-kimchi-vegetables-and-a-classic-wedge-salad-transformed-by-one-of-them.html). Room for Dessert? We can’t think of anything better than one of these two magnificent coconut confections (https://chewingthefat.us.com/2021/04/easter-is-upon-usand-these-coconut.html), one from Ina Garten and one from Martha Stewart’s right-hand baker, John Barricelli.
