We were bowled over when we saw what our friends at The Bridgehampton Florist have done for a sophisticated Thanksgiving. And in the East it was extremely timely–snow fell like crazy on the 15th of November…Central Park had 6 inches of the white stuff–setting an all time record. So out with the browns and good old Orange pumpkins are passé. Now Thanksgiving is celebrated with white jack-be-little pumpkins, white cauliflower, winterberries and gourds. Their personal collection of Ironstone completes the tabletopping. It’s such a sophisticated look! And check out the rustic use of burlap as the tablecloth…
Thanksgiving is the time to bring on the candlight, in this case with candleholders made by hollowing out the center of gourds and putting them into hurricane lamps.
And since Thanksgiving Dinner is often served late afternoon, see how beautifully the shadows fall on this wonderful expression of just how talented The Bridgehampton Florist is. To enjoy the beauty of what they do on a daily basis all year ’round, be sure to follow them on Instagram.
